Study visits – a way to sustainable fashion (SV-SF)

During the year 2022, ProEntranse from Republic of Moldova together with European Movement Lithuania implemented the project „Study visits – a way to sustainable fashion (SV-SF)”.
The objective of the actions, in the framework of our project, implemented by Lithuanian and Moldavian BSOs is to enhance the trade relationship and open business opportunities between EaP countries and EY member states by providing the Moldavian textile SMEs, especially focusing on rural areas, with guidance regarding entering or expanding their presence on the EU market, equipping them with information addressing trade benefits, increasing number of their business contacts and as a result, help fostering business linkages.
In this order of ideas, on the period 13 – 17 of September, a delegation of enterprises and representatives of Business Support Organizations from Lithuania with the main activities in textile, confection and apparel sector, participated in a study visit in Republic of Moldova.
Participants from Lithuania had the opportunity to discuss with the company owners about the work processes, the company’s main products, but also to learn about the problems they face and the primary needs to face the competition on the national or international market.
On the period 05 – 10 of October, a delegation of enterprises and representatives of Business Support Organizations from Republic of Moldova with the main activities in textile, confection and apparel sector, participated in a study visit in Lithuania, conducted by ProEntranse organization. During this period, Moldovan beneficiaries attended the „Sustainability & Circular Economy in Textile” Conference in Kaunas and participated at the international exhibition MADE IN LITHUANIA 2022.
By organizing Study Visits, the project provided the possibility to improve the participants knowledge and understanding of each other’s business communities and the opportunities that exist for cooperation and trade between businesses in Moldova and those in the EU Member States, specially from Lithuania.
