On 30 – 31 May 2019, in Chisinau, for the first time will be organized the municipal investment forum (FIM). The representatives of the Chisinau’s twin cities, business community in Moldova and abroad, diplomatic missions accredited in Moldova and associative sector are expected to attend the forum.
The event is organized especially to facilitate the attraction of new investments and investors in Chisinau. There are expected representatives to participate from such countries like: USA, Romania, Germany, Sweden, Armenia and Ukraine. The plenary sessions will include vital issues such as agriculture and modern urban planning, smart city technologies, economic cooperation, municipal services and infrastructure modernization.
On the first day of the event, one plenary session will be dedicated to Early-Stage Investing Launchpad. The main topics which will be addressed at the discussion panel:
- Angel Investing for You: the investment process;
- Angel Syndicates and Investor Groups;
- Building and managing a start-up investment portfolio;
Brigitte BAUMANN, Founder of Go Beyond Early Stage Investing, Honory president of EBAN, will discuss about the above topics and will provide answers to participants a few very important questions: What are international investors looking for in foreign companies? What can investors do to help their companies raise capital abroad? What are the challenges of raising capital in a foreign country?
Early Stage Investing Launchpad pilot has the overall objective of developing and boosting the activities for Business Angels through an international capacity building program. ESIL pilot focuses on 3 EU Member States where the number of BAs and BA related activities and investments are still under developed or just emerging.
Lucia Usurelu, representing ProEntranse organization, starting with 2018, became #ESILAngel or Local Leader for Republic of Moldova within the Early Stage Investing Launchpad (ESIL).
