On the period 31.03 – 03.04.2022, in Germany, was organized the 2nd International exchange knowledge and workshop within the project „ICT SOS for environment”, part of the Erasmus+ strategic partnership. In this period, has been organized internal meetings and thematic workshops with the partners from Germany, Hungary, Moldova and Poland.
On the April 01, together with the project partners, visited the Waste Disposal and Recycling Centre of the Ebersberg district. The representatives of the Centre presented the services, capacity of the disposal and the history of the place, since 1992. The main services of the centre are the delivery of bulky waste, recyclable materials, electronic scrap, mineral fibre waste, asbestos waste (only packed dust-tight!) and delivery of problem waste (problematic waste interim storage).
On the second part of the day, we visited Steinhöringer Facility Network for people with handicaps. The „Steinhöringer workshops” for people with mental and partly physical disabilities or with mental illness (WfbM) are a network of workshops of the Steinhöring facility network with locations in Eglharting, Fendsbach, Steinhöring (workshops for people with mental disabilities) and Ebersberg (workshop for people with mental illness). They offer their employees vocational training that corresponds to their respective skills with the aim of integrating them into working life. The main variants of the integration service are employment in the workshop, work at outsourced jobs and, if necessary, placement on the general labour market.
One other interesting place was the Diakonia Second-Hand-Warenhaus from Ebersberg. At this place are sold second hand furniture, clothing, household items and board games – all collected items are repaired, restored and sold at the right price.
On the April 02, together with the Luxx representatives, the host organization from Germany, we visited the Wertstoffinsel and Wertstoffhof of the Glonn city. At those places are collected separately large and small appliances, used batteries, wood and garden grass, textiles, metal and household waste.
On the second part of the day, we visited a decentral compost yard near Glonn, a success story of Public-Privat cooperation. The representatives of the compost yard are implementing the decentralized composting process, gathering material from the citizens of the region.
The German Host was Luxx organization, partner within the project „ICT SOS for environment”. The partner organization, during that period organized the internal meetings within the project, workshop and visits in the German sites to share the best practices in the waste management system.
In accordance with the project activities, the Luxx organization team developed a Flyer about ITC Waste guide.

From Republic of Moldova participated representatives of ProEntranse organization along with another partners from Germany, Hungary and Poland.
